I'm following lsof output for my process

COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME
AppName    79899 heximal    7u  IPv4 0x6c18d5501d2e17c9      0t0  TCP 10.3.2.8:58611->7.200.50.212:https (ESTABLISHED)
AppName    79899 heximal    9u  IPv4 0x6c18d5501d2e17c9      0t0  TCP 10.3.2.8:58611->7.200.50.212:https (ESTABLISHED)

I can't comprehend how to interpret this? Does it really mean there are two connection established using the same local port? It's not like one of them is kind of ghost, because I can see them both while the process is alive.

    They are from the same PID, but with different FDs... is one a dup() of the other? – Attie Oct 6 '18 at 10:48
