These log entries /-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/ (in the 404 logs of my WordPress Redirection Plugin) must be some sort of attempted exploit, but of what? Traversing the directories looking for something?
There are hundreds of them in my logs, from different IPs from all over the world, and the referrer (red rectangle in image) is my own domain.
Should I block traffic from my own referrer? If so, how? In .htaccess? Or not bother, as these are just more garbage traffic?
This is shared server with 14.04.1-Ubuntu, Apache/2.4.7 and PHP: 5.5.9 (I know, time to upgrade php).
