I got issue where i want to set smartd.conf to automaticaly test disks. Problem is that option DEVICESCAN which i suppose means all disks does not work for some reason so i need to specify each disk manually, which is troublesome, since its old storage server and there are many changes. Of course i can keep list of disks up-to-date manually, but i wonder if there is option to generalize like:

instead of

/dev/sdca -a -o on -S on -s (S/../.././10|L/../../6/03)
/dev/sdcb -a -o on -S on -s (S/../.././10|L/../../6/03)
/dev/sdcc -a -o on -S on -s (S/../.././10|L/../../6/03)

to have:

/dev/sdc* -a -o on -S on -s (S/../.././10|L/../../6/03)

I tried this but it would be to easy for it to work. Any ideas? Would be nice to find shortcut - all disks with same prefix in one command so sda* sdb* sdc* instead of 70 lines
