I have two Mikrotik routers, RB3011 (R1) and RB951G (R2). The first router (R1) is active, connected to internet and to the local network. The second one (R2) is inactive at the moment. Officially R1 dose not support l2tp VPN. So the idea is to connect R2 to R1 in order to enable l2tp authentication, but not connecting R2 to internet. I want to reroute VPN requests to R2, and after the approval, R1 should give the user an IP address from the appropriate DHCP pool. So my question is can I configure the two routers to work like this and can I configure them to use only one DHCP pool (form R1)?
