My boss decided that in order to increase the security in the firm, from now on every employee who wants to work from home and install forticlient and Citrix must have an active firewall and antivirus. the problem is, those are their personal computers and we don't have control over them. I thought to create a script that runs with the installation but first checks for antivirus and firewall and only if they are active runs the install file. Not sure if this is the best option. thank you for your help.

As far as I can see you won't need to create your own scripts from scratch to detect AV and firewall settings on the client, such checks are already supported from the forticlient in conjunction with the central management software from Fortinet. – HBruijn May 21 at 10:01
