Our static website is stored on S3 and distributed via Cloudfront.

The S3 file <S3-bucket>/foo/bar.html can be accessed at www.example.com/foo/bar.html but not at www.example.com/foo/bar (without the .html) which is how we want it to appear on the browser. It fails like this.

<Error>
  <Code>AccessDenied</Code>
  <Message>Access Denied</Message>
  <RequestId>11CD15FA7ABEAD86</RequestId>
  <HostId>
    RMBHJ0OfgauMgl1pEx8h1Av590jITlHnVcwbZOZixncZ7gsM=
  </HostId>
</Error>

How do I tell Cloudfront to pick up foo/bar.html and not foo/bar/index.html like some other answers suggest?
