I have a self hosted gl instance. One of my runners is installed on a windows machine which gives me some headache. My GL instance uses a self signed certificate. I created a .pem from my cert file and passed it to the runner. Then I set ssl verify to false to avoid errors when running jobs with Gitlab CI.

When I run my job I get the message: ERROR: Failed to parse PEM in C:...

When I check the path, I can see that my certificate file is copied there during the build process. I open the copied file and it uses windows line endings so I assume the certificate should be ok? But why would windows not be able to parse it? The .crt file is also imported on the computer.

Has anyone an idea what could be the reason? Thanks in advance for any hints or tips. Very much appreciated.

I can provide more configuration code if needed.
