I'm a developer and a family man, a math major who gets his hands in the dirt, and a programmer that likes to use a soldering iron.
I bounced around an IT department for 5 years supporting legacy code. Since 2010 I have been working in an in-house digital media agency as a full-stack web developer. In 2015 I took over a team of developers as a Senior/Lead developer and have built out modern standards, toolsets, and training processes since then.
My primary Back-End skill set includes:
- ASP.net MVC in C#
- Entity Framework
- MSSQL, MySQL
My primary Front-End skill set includes:
- Hiring/Training Developers
- Performance Optimization
- Code Reviews and Architecture
- E commerce and Related Legal Requirements
- Project Management
I have over a decade of experience with UI/UX development considering marketing funnel, usability, performance, look and so on to the end result of improving chances of a conversion from the site.
Success is made of many parts: security, features, performance, and maintainability are a few. Often all of those are important to find in the right balance of getting stuff done and plan for the future.
