Lieven Cardoen, born on 10 October 1976 in Ypres, Belguim, five minutes after midnight. During World War I, Mustard gas, also called Yperite from the name of my city, was used for the first time near Ypres in the autumn of 1917. This is mainly the reason why some posts could be absolute nonsense!
I have a Bachelor degree in Sports (teacher) and a Master degree in Industrial Engineering Computer Sciences. After my studies I deserved a break and spend two years of my life cleaning up, living in Provence (France), forgetting all I had learned, ... Once back to the real world, I started working in Indie Group as a Architect/Developer mainly in Flash/Flex & .NET. Currently I'm working for Televic-Education as Technical TeamLead. Specialities are architectural design, analysing and programming mainly in .NET, SQL2005 and Flex. More information can be found at LinkedIn.
If I'm not working, then I'm playing guitar, singing my guts out, doing sports, reading a book, posting on this blog, making some salsa moves, banging my djembé, dreaming of making a trace with my snowboard in some fresh deep snow... The love of my life is Mélanie (aka Fraggle), helping the world see with a pair of parabolas!
I'm also a singer-song writer and you can check some songs at Cardoen Music. If you like it, then book me for a nice festival with some fresh beer, nice folks and positive vibes!
Hasta la proxima!
